What was the most important battle of World War 2?

A new blog topic for you as I am a bit of a history buff it was only a mater of time before I ventured into this sector

So to major victorys for Britian
The battle of the Alantic or The battle of Britian
Royal navy                                Royal AirForce
But this is not The navy v the raf or about who better it all about which battle was more curical to the surival of our nation

Both keep us in the war both were vital for the overall victory but is one more important?

Battle of Britain was all about keeping control of our airspace loss would have paved the way for invasion. Infact not totally true opperation sealion was hastley put together and the Germany navy did not have sufficent landing craft or control of the channel so any invasion would not have been D Day as the Royal Navy would have contested it. But lose would of been very damaging the RAF would of had to retreat to airbase a long way north and left attack on port and factory unhampered damaging the war effort and rearming after Dunquire. Leaving the German to properly plan an invasion and equip it. And even if as some indication say Hitler never really wanted to invade we could not have launched later bombing raid and the war would have been very different maybe even no Dday so a very vital victory?

The battle of the alantic
Was all about keeping the supply lane open. With food war materails etc and loss would have lwad to a degree of stavation hampered rearming and prevented the American sending troops so again no D day and if invasion was intend on the uk The Army would have had a harder job stopping it.

My concusion loss of either would have changed the course of the war and prevented or delayed D day not meaning Germany would of won but that cold war would of been different and no divide Germany possible a comunist Europe all the way to portagul.
Each was vital for same overall reason and equal crucual to win
