Hull has a reasonable public transport system of Bus and been flat also enables the city to have a good bike network much of it along the old railway lines spread across Hull.
But what we have physical got no space for is a tram network like Manchester. And the underlying clay makes a subway out of the question (Related fact the tunnel for Yorkshire water under the Marina collapsed trapping a tunneling machine in their several years back or the Kingswood bridge was meant to be a tunnel but kept flooding) So if Hull is ever to have a rapid transit network then what?
Lets go with the monorail idea that has been floated a few time over the Years.
One line I could suggest
Hull ferry terminal.Victoria Dock.the Deep.Hull peir. The marina/Humber Queys.Hull ice arena. English street.Albert dock (back on to the Humber) 2 stops at The junction retail park st Andrews quey carrying onto the park and ride (This is only one line I can think of several other routes)
With some sort of interchange at the marina to send a line to Pargorn interchange.
To the best of my knowledge there is no monorail in the UK so Hull would have a unquie safe a fast rapid transit Network.
