Hull's hidden gems #Hull2017 #Hull yes

Here @ Clark trading I will say this time and time again we are proud to be from and based in Hull and it annoys me when people unfairly slag our fine city of.

Hull is a city full of hidden gems off the beaten track for a want of a word below are just a few I can think of and of course all these add to the charm and character of this wonderful city and helped win the City of Culture

  1. Like many towns in the medieval period Hull was a walled city and unlike York the walls have gone or have they a section of the walls remain in two place @ Beverley Gate in the City centre were King Charles 1st was shut out sparking the English civil war and a little more of the beaten track in the Kyber pass in East park
  2. Also close to East park is the only surviving wind mill in Hull now a pub
  3. The A165 Holderness road is a old road and still has a horse step
  4. The last remaining civil bomb site from ww2 is on Hull's Beverley road
  5.  This pub may be known for it plotting parlour but did you know there is a Human skull behind the bar in Ye Olde White hart
