Christmas 25th of December correct but why? Because that is Jesus birthday ! Wrong Jesus was born in the spring and not December. So why?
Like many major festivals there was already one on that day. In this case the winter solisate festival which in the early days of christianty after it was accepted and became the offical religion neec to convert the people so by swapping one festival for a other was easier for all. So remember when you tuck into your turkey this year.
