Been from Hull we are in the Rugby league heartland but also home to a premier league football club. And in the local paper you will often hear on news articles the football mob commenting on Rugby been dead or rubbish.
Yes I am basis but answer me a few questions
Who run football clubs? The players? The owners? The Manager?
When you take a new newspaper article by Sir Alex on why Beckham had to go. So the over paid footballer think they are more important than the club and the manager. I think that this is one example of how money is ruining football.
A lot of football fans I know think that the large amounts of money proves how football is the greatest in the world. But is that really a good point?
Ok Rugby league has not got the same level of money involved but lets consider a plus point of this. Can a smaller Club like Hull city Compete in the premier league when their is not a level playing field caused by all the money involved in the game. Surly this damages football?
In the super league with a salary cap we created a much more even playing field esp for teams coming up. So is money ruining football? And is the lesser money in Rugby league healthier in the long term?
