And the same can be said for a business like us here @ Clark Trading. A business no mater what type is a part of the community in some way even online business (We also have market trading operation on top of our online operation's) and even if your located on an industrial park your still part of a boarder community the city. Clark trading is based in Hull and proud of it and that I hope shine thru on our blogs. In some shape or other a business has an impact on it local community positive or negative. And let face it if is negative it will harm your image.That why been a good neighbour is important !
One way is to support local charitys but which one? A important factor should be you and as applicable your workforce fell it a worthy course to support not just it local maybe have a connection in some form . That is why we choice Dove House hospice here @ Clark trading it meet all them points. Yes your choice could be viewed as negative by some who disagree with the cause but just be willing and able to state why you fell it important I have tried to do this via my blogs here on Blogspot and the website but Dove House is easy compared to some many people have a connection due to the nature of the work it does.

Do you recycle? We do via several means one reuse strong packaging were possible were not using local recycling facility's.
Do you have a unused area on your site? Yes why not create a garden it great for wildlife and the workforce and it could even be a nice place to hold meeting in summer and I bet that would be remember by your clients in a positive way. We have 2 ponds and feed the birds it nice to watch.
