Hull once was home to one of the largest fishing fleets in the UK based of St Andrews Quey. Which is no more. Today all that remains is a selection of derlict old buildings and a silted up section of dock a shame.
It could be put to fitting us.
Yes this suggestion will cost a lot of money but done right could be a true gem.
Ok Hull has 2 museum ship in 2 place how about dredge st Andrews do up Lords line building and make a large maritime museum unlike and like at Hartlepool. It could provide a home To Hms Lusty on the river (And to those who say it will be a white elephant I say this they said it about Hms Belfast I bet) a mix of boats fishing civil and navy in dock a flying boat would be nice the lords line building could house a collection of artifacts.

A further plus is that Stand use Bull nose as a memorial it open it up to a wider band of people I would also suggest putting a copy of the memorial from Hessle road and near the town dock museum there. Then visitor can get a wider picture of Hull's shipping heritage and the human cost.
What ships would you like to see?
And it would be a artiction to rival any where in the Uk if done right. Costly but worth it.
