Hull is a strong unique and vibrant city. A city that here at Clark trading we are proud to be both based in and from.
But what makes Hull great.?
What are the city's strengths now we have been allowed to emerge from the shadows and shout about them.? ( yes Hull has fault it not perfect like all city's but that does not stop us been great)
- Location far from been In the middle of no where Hull's location on the Humber surround by plenty of flat land has enabled a city with a large complex and nationally vital port to both develop and thrive. The largest port and only ferry terminal in Yorkshire soon home to Seimein and many other positive benefits to the UK. Yes the road into M62/A63 after Wakefield can be quite but an uncongested road is something they can only dream of in London and the south but is a every day reality In Hull. (The Number may look muddy or dirty it not and after all drains 1/5 of England) The Humber also provides some stunning back drops across Hull. And so does the Number Bridge
- Businesses Hull is home to many national company with may of those same companies been founded in Hull. E.g. Aunt Bessies, Smith and Nephews
- William Wilberforce let not forget the important role in ending slavery in the British empire this Hull mp and resident did
- History among other thing Hull sparked of the English civil war
- People both these alive today and our historical residents like Andrew Marvell, Amy Johnson and Hull very own Bee lady charity fund raiser 91 year old Jean Bishop. And many many more hard working men and women in Hull.
- Our buildings yes Hull has no sky scrapers but what we do have is numerous Gregorian buildings and several hundred year old pubs still trading as pubs.
- Unusual things like England smallest window our own telephone exchange and company mean no boring red phone boxes in Haul but white phone boxes instead.
- The Deep home to 3500 + fish and even penguins.
- 2 museum ships London only has one opps I forgot about Cuttys Ark
