What does that mean ? #Haulage


  • Goods in transit Insurance ? Simple the type of insurance you need to carry goods for hire or reward 
  • Hire or Reward ? been paid to carry goods or people 
  • Dummarage ?  A charge a haulier may charge for delay to unloading /loading after a agreed unloading period has a lapsed
  • Gwt ?   Gross weight tonnage the maximum weight of a van/truck with the weight of it and the load combined 
  • Train weight ? The weight combined with a trailer 
  • C+E ? The licence required to drive the largest trucks on UK road the artics (Paul holds his C+E)
