Clark Trading and product quaility standards
Safety,Quaility,Profit
Is sort of our manta here at Clark Trading but what does it mean.?
Simple
That first and formost a product we sell has to be safe,we check all items we buy to ensure not only thst they work but that they are safe. This does vary depend on the item but let use a hair dyer for an example it will be plugged in to check the following. No smell (Electrical) is it hot were it should and shouldn't what does it sound like is it sparking,is the entact and the casing ( With hair dryer when stocked there may be a mix of new and used on stock) With all item we ensure they meet the correct CE specs.
Quaility can be a subjective thing to a certain degree but we try to ensure that the quaility is reflected in the price after all some thing in stock will be cheaper and at the lower end of the scale but no matter where they come we ensure they are at the very min fit for their in end purpouse. I mean some stock has come from wholesaler that did not meet this crita and our quaility standards just go straight back. We will do everything in our power to ensure a product is of the quaility expected of it.
And only than does oyr profit come in to it
So I am certain you can buy with confidence

The Spurn lightship and the Humber
The Humber sit on Hull's door step but how well do you know here?
A few facts
1 she drains a 20% of England's land mass
2 She is the most ship river in England home to 3 ports
3 The most dangerous river in Uk and one of the most in the world
4 Home to the longest single span supension bridge in Britain once the world (5th I think now)
In the day gone by before sonar and the like the Humber was home to several manned lightships The Spurn among them.
These ship have no engine and remained anchored in one place. Providing light at hazards just like lighthouse just floating. She was in service for about 50 years and by Trinity House.

What is the root of all Evil? Dare I say it? Religion
But what is the root of evil?
I would say there are several candidates and all can and do cause problems. But in both religion and money defence they can create great things to.
- Money
- Religion
- Just people

What makes a good boss? Toxic management part 4
But what make a good boss ? And not just an OK boss?
And I am sure we all have our own ideas please suggest them in the comments.
One point I will make before jumping in this is to some degree the answer will depend on two factors are you the company owner or an employee.
And this may seem nasty to say but they are your boss not your mate. A boss who is a mate to their staff may seem great and to some degree is but can be very dangerous. This could be that only 1 or 2 staff members fit this and it can lead to favouritism or every is but it will make it harder for them to separate things fro they are my mate and I go drink or the such likes with them and them the staff member when things go wrong.Result can include letting things slide. A good boss get on with their work force and so on.
They know the role your doing and can do it themselves when needed this is a key factor a good leader should not ask staff to do things they can't or will not do themselves lead by example. Possible muck in when they have nothing to do if nothing else staff will be more inclined to trust them.
Will pressure can get things done helping it on can lead to stress been able to be a task master and crack the whip not all the time but only when really needed. Again the time scale is tight the staff will struggle to get it done I will lend a hand not sit their watching them struggle is a good attitude for a good leader.
