The Spurn lightship and the Humber
The Humber sit on Hull's door step but how well do you know here?
A few facts
1 she drains a 20% of England's land mass
2 She is the most ship river in England home to 3 ports
3 The most dangerous river in Uk and one of the most in the world
4 Home to the longest single span supension bridge in Britain once the world (5th I think now)
In the day gone by before sonar and the like the Humber was home to several manned lightships The Spurn among them.
These ship have no engine and remained anchored in one place. Providing light at hazards just like lighthouse just floating. She was in service for about 50 years and by Trinity House.

A new shipping museum at St Andrew Quey please
It could be put to fitting us.
Yes this suggestion will cost a lot of money but done right could be a true gem.
Ok Hull has 2 museum ship in 2 place how about dredge st Andrews do up Lords line building and make a large maritime museum unlike and like at Hartlepool. It could provide a home To Hms Lusty on the river (And to those who say it will be a white elephant I say this they said it about Hms Belfast I bet) a mix of boats fishing civil and navy in dock a flying boat would be nice the lords line building could house a collection of artifacts.
